My double room was good and had basic facilities needed. There was good food, the staff was very helpful. The hotel was set in a remote area just next door to Guatemala, and Semuc Champey and the caves. It also was in the thick jungle.

Travelled with my dogs, spent 2 nights here and had a very comfortable stay. I booked the dormitory room that was cosy. Good remote location so close to the nature, Semuc Champey from the property, and the thick jungle. Plus, my hotel was located 2 km from tourist attractions like Zamzam Well.

The staff went above and beyond, answering all our questions and treating us incredibly well. The chill jungle vibe made for a great atmosphere, especially at sunset. The bathrooms and showers were clean, and the lack of insects in the room was a pleasant surprise. While there may be closer accommodations to Semuc Champey, the owner provided convenient rides. Even if he's unavailable, flagging down a truck is easy. The food was decent, and the games provided entertainment at night. The beds were comfy, and the 1-hour walk to Semuc Chamey was worth it. The staff had GREAT taste in music. The restaurant had reasonable prices. It was a real jungle experience that exceeded my expectations.

The location of this hostel is absolutely stunning, nestled right in the thick jungle near the river. The natural surroundings and lush greenery create a beautiful and serene atmosphere. The dorm room was simple but cozy, and the bathroom facilities were nice with lovely big showers. The staff here were super friendly and provided excellent service. The breakfast options were good and reasonably priced.
Some of the other guests were loud and disrupted the peaceful atmosphere, making it hard to sleep.
